CNC Turning Services
Technology Signus offers exceptional performance for their clients with each solution. Our turning capabilities can carry out projects handed by small businesses, as well as from giants in the industry. Precision and competitive pricing – both are possible with state of the art technology.
How CNC
Turning Works
We work with CNC Turning machines and applications capable to accommodate the needs of a wide range of industries. We aim to achieve the best quality we possibly can for each part we deliver, each time and for each project. From the concept to the end product, Technology Signus will provide complementary services, such as virtual validation, technical documentation or quality checks, in order to deliver a complete solution.
How CNC
COST OPTIMIZATION
Time and resources are responsibly spent for each new project. Over the years, our company managed to understand that cutting down on waste is the best option for reducing production costs. We chose to invest in better equipment and people, while still keeping our competitive prices. Turning is the best solution when you want to avoid difficult shapes such as very long thin structures, reduce complexity and the amount of material removed.
How CNC
MATERIALS
Our CNC Turning manufacturing process stands out by being productive, flexible and easy to operate. The process is as simple as that: bars of material are held in a chuck and rotated while they reach the desired shape and form. Albeit the method seems effortless, CNC turning is a highly skilled and precise process.
The process uses a single-point cutting tool that inserts parallel to the material to cut. The material is rotated at changing speeds as the tool cutting traverses to create cylindrical cuts with exact measurements
How CNC
SHAPES
The cutting tool usually rotates about an axis that is perpendicular to the table that holds the material to be cut. A cutting tool protrudes down from a rotating spindle. A block of material is placed on a moving table below the cutter. While the cutting tool turns, a computer controls the vertical (Z axis) motion of the cutter and the horizontal (X and Y axis) motion of the block of material.
The cutter is guided to move through the material, removing portions to create shapes. Additionally, the material can be turned to various orientations in the middle of the process and cutting tools of various shapes can be used.
